The "Open Area" part of this calculator ONLY works out the square metreage and doesn't allow for wastage. If you round up to the nearest Width (divide by 2.74mt), it will give you a good idea of the amount of Seagrass Matting needed and what to expect the cost of your project to be. It would be advisable to use the multi room calculator if you require a more accurate estimate. This should only be taken as an approximate price as other aspects will also play a role in the final costing of your job.
