PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Marmoleum floorcovering is manufactured from natural, raw materials including linseed oil, natural resins, woodflour, limestone, natural pigments and jute. The product is extremely durable and provides excellent appearance retention with low maintenance costs. Calendered onto a hessian backing, Marmoleum is flexible and easily handled.

APPLICATIONS
Marmoleum is suitable for class 23 (Heavy Domestic), 34 (Very Heavy Commercial) and 42 (General Industrial) buildings to EN 685 and has a wide range of applications including healthcare (hospitals, nursing homes) educational facilities (schools, kindergartens, universities) retail stores, airports, hotels, restaurants, commercial buildings, offices. domestic etc.

INSTALLATION
For easier working, material should be stored, loosely rolled, for 24 hours prior to installation and laid at a minimum room temperature of 18°C. It is essential that subfloor preparation and product installation are in accordance with AS 1884-1985, Floorcoverings Resilient Sheet and Tiles Laying and Maintenance Practices.

ADHESIVES
The recommended adhesives are ForboFix 635 (Eurocol 411) Marmoleum adhesive or ForboFix 638 (Eurocol 414) multi-purpose adhesive, used in accordance with the container label instructions.

SEAM WELDING
Marmoleum will not shrink or open at the joins, therefore welding is not obligatory. If seams are not welded, allow a 1-2mm gap for expansion in the width. The product can be hot welded using Marmoweld if required. Welding is advised to ensure a watertight hygienic seam wherever frequent spillages are likely or wet maintenance methods are used.

COVING
Preformed coving, in all colours is available

MAINTENANCE
Marmoleum maintenance is cost-effective and simple, leading to reduced lifecycle costs. Refer to separate maintenance instructions.

BACTERICIDAL PROPERTIES
As a result of natural, raw materials such as linseed oil, Marmoleum has inherent bactericidal properties making it ideal for healthcare and educational facilities.
