A full Bale of Seagrass Matting contains either 25 m2 or 27.40m2 Bales.

TRANSPORT WEIGHT is calculated on the fully wrapped bale measurements & weighs as follows;

Be aware, it is cheaper to ship a full bale of seagrass, as unfortunately we have to pass on the additional handling costs of Cutting into a bale then Re-wrapping for Transport.

Seagrass MATTING is sold in 3.0 mt or 2.74mt wide bales or sold in 30cm increments cut from a bale.

(In old School terms: Sold in increments of 9 ft or 10 ft wide by 1 ft long.

ROLLS of Seagrass Carpet are 4.00 mt wide x 30 mt's long = 120sq metres per Roll.

(Rolls of seagrass weigh approx. 250~350Kg depending on the type)

How to ESTIMATE the amount of Seagrass Matting you require.

NB: Seagrass Matting is calculated and ONLY sold in increments of 30cm x by the bale width (eg: 2.74mt x .30cm =0.836 m2 section).

To calculate an area you divide (÷) the width & then the length of the room or area by 0.305 mt and then round up the figures, this will give you the amount of individual squares needed in each direction, then multiply these two figures by 0.093 (.305cm x 305cm=.093m2) to get the exact square meters needed.

Example:

If a room is 5 mt long ÷ 0.305 = 16.66 (=17 squares needed for the length)

The width is 4mt ÷ 0.305 = 13.33 (=14 squares needed for the width)

So, 17 x 14 =238 squares x 0.093 = 22.14 m2 of matting is needed.
